Hello from Iowa

I have finally joined after lurking here for a couple of weeks and am looking forward to becoming part of this community.
I have been getting back into photography after a period of not being able to do much with it.
I consider myself to be an okay photographer and am trying to become a better one.
I am shooting a Canon T2i and have 2 lens at this time: an Canon 18- 135mm IS which came with my camera and I recently bought a Canon 100mm Macro.

Welcome to the site Sherry. I lived in Cedar Rapids for about 2 years. Post some photos when you can.

Welcome Sherry!! I used to live in Estherville, IA and now reside in Colorado but was back there this summer,.... again! This site is a great source for information of any kind and the knowledge displayed will really surprise you. These people LOVE photography and will help and assist anyone who asks! Post some Iowa shots so I don't have to travel all that way so often!!!!

Wow.....lots of Iowa folks.... I really loved living there and contemplated staying. If you can convince the governor to move it closer to an ocean, I'll come back 8-)

Welcome Sherry...I am in the Quad-Cities but the Illinois side. Lived on the Iowa side for a few years. I recently joined UHH and love all the wonderful advice and people here, sure you will too.
