These are just a couple of many photos of Mesa Verde National Park near where I live.
The first photo is of the Square Tower ruins shot late in the afternoon this week.
The second shot was from a couple of years ago when they light up this ruin for Christmas.

Photojet, just loved seeing your photos of Mesa Verde. We were there 20 years ago, and I'm SO anxious to go back. That's beautiful the way they light it up at Christmas. Thanks for sharing!

I've lived in Arizona most of my life but I've never been there. Sadly, I've only been the the Four Corners area once or twice. Lovely shots!

Very nice shots of this unique area. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and driven by the entrance several times and never have turned in to see the ruins.

Mesa Verde is considered sacred......I think us non natives need to respect that - or were you simply being facetious?

Take time to see one of the wonders of the world. I go a couple times a year and stand amazed that people actuall lived there and built the structures.
