Can anyone tell me how to permanently disable or at least permanently kill the audio to the advertising at the bottom of my UHH pages

This is similar to asking how to mute the audio to commercials on TV.
To help though, you may want to try a different browser like Google Chrome http://www.google.com/chrome with a built-in Pop-up Blocker.
- And as farnsworth52 stated, the AdBlockPlus extension is an excellent choice!

If you use either FireFox or Chrome, get the AdBlockPlus extension.
If you're still using IE bloatware, get one of the above.
