First image is CS6, NEF, imported from a Nikon D40x
Adjusted color balance, no other modification.
The image is dead on in the center but REALLY peters off on the side. The electrical boxes on the right are narrow, not wide. The emergency power alternator on the right is also not as wide.
Note that this is the raw result and no attempt has been made to correct the perspectives.
This one is made with MS ICE, no attempt to correct anything either. Straight from unadulterated NEF file.
The result is smaller than it should be.
The perspective is more natural but the driveway on the left appears to be uphill instead of flat.
All pictures were taken hand-held w/o any planning other than to show the yard work in progress.
Once you get the hang of it, it's capable of doing some great images.
I've stitched quite a few images using Photoshop.
Have one that's printed 4 feet wide that I shot with a 12mp camera and you can't see the pixels
I know it can, I have done so but it needs tweaking and accurate shooting. So far ICE is way faster and has been of handling a 300+ hand held panorama created a few years ago. CS5 crashed, PTGUI a weird result I did not know what that was supposed to be...
Differences?
CS6 just about $1000, PTGUI $99 and ICE is free...
