Welcome.... Nice camera and lens. I adore my EF 70-200 F/2.8L lens too. Only comment on your photos is not to center every thing. Try putting some things off center when you can, makes a better looking photo.

Google...."the rule of thirds" for an explanation of what renomike is talking about......
Welcome. Another Canon user, yippee!!
Reno mike is right on target...centering creates a bullseye effect and keeps the eye from wandering over the rest of the photo. Centering often makes for a not so great photo. To make you feel better I too use Canon...and Nikon. Beautiful scenes which need just a little help.
Welcome, mplemons, nice photos, can't wait to see more.
No skidooman we do not need still another Canon nut. We have so many now that Admn is going to send Canon a bill for all the advertisements on this site.
However that being said, mplsmom since your photos are so great you can stay. I especially like number two. It would've been even better if you had brought it down maybe an inch. Looking forward to more of your posts.
Welcome from McAllen TX
Welcome (sorry tramsey)from another canon user. Nice shots and thanks for the education. Always knew about cotton and sugar plantations, and now I know where we grow our Hawaiians

I won't hold that against you!
These are nice, I especially like #3. Renomike is right; #1 has a tilted horizon.
