Hello shuttrpirate, I really like it because the HDR has not been overdone, in fact if you hadn't said it had been HDR'd, I would not have known.
Cheers, John

Im not the one to ask as I feel HDR is, like so many digital programmes, an unnecessary gimmick. That said it is a really good and lovely landscape and I feel is more than good enough to stand out on its own without HDR, I then ask myself has HDR added anything or bettered the image? , but credit where credit is due you have treated it sympathetically and not overblown it. I hope I have not offended you shutterpirate, if I have I apologise.

I like it . I would like to see the original before PP. What software have you used for HDR?

That's good.It looks like a picture postcard. Don't be put off by those who do not like HDR. It is not a gimmick but another level of photography whereby tone mapping is part of the end result. keep it going.

To me, THIS is HDR! I belonged to an HDR site for about 2 years. There were many excellent photos along the line of your work. But, it was the overblown, overworked photos that got the praise, you know, the ones that did not look like reality. Nope, that is not HDR intent. YOUR photo is! Well done!!

Nice picture I'm a fan of HDR although I prefer to add more like the shot I uploaded.

This image really caught my attention because of its bold use of complementary colours. I see in it many different textures, the wheat is "rough"', the house is "hard"' and the clouds are fluffy. There is a lot for the eye to see.
But I do have one question. Is there a thin magenta strip between the wheet and the sky? If not, then it's my iPad creating the artifact.
Thanks for posting it.

To me this is the ultimate example of what HDR is really about!! The "over-blown" stuff is really 'HDR' that has had ToneMapping applied to make it more 'painterly' !!

EXCELLENT work on this one!!

What a great shot...HDR or not...the big bold colors and geometry are just great!

This is HDR with added ToneMapping.
BTW, it is not proper ettiquette here to post your photos on other peoples threads UNLESS they ask for them or give EXPLICIT permission.
