I would like to put a bubble in a picture with a arrow pointing to someone and text in the bubble. Like they sometimes do in cartoons. So far I can get the bubble by pressing the preset shapes tool. But I don't know how to get the text in it. Does anyone know how I can do that. Thanks.

If you got the bubble down, you could just use more bubbles that get smaller. I did something like that years ago. Once I got the bubble in place, I just clicked on the type-tool, clicked inside the bubble and typed.

In PSP X-4 (I suspect X-5 has not changed this) select the Shapes Tool, there you will see many selections for shapes, when you find the bubbles look for a drop-down listing for various bubble shapes. Make sure you are creating the bubbles as a "Vector" layer. After you insert the bubbles, and size it with the Layers, you can add a Text tool layer into the bubble. Insert your desired text.

Because you have used Layers for both the bubble image and the text image you can adjust both to suite your needs.
