Hi... its a sad story but what I don't understand is what a 14 yr. old is doing out at 3:am !!! The fact he was killed is not surprising.... nun of the rest of the story is shocking but where are his parents?
I bet they are crying fowl right now at the morgue demanding the officers that killed their angle, be hanged. THAT would not surprise me either.... but still, its a sad story to have any child killed. Thanks for posting it

I agree, 100% of the blame lies at the feet of the parents. Too many squirt these kids out and then take no responsibility for their upbringing. In regard to the old saying "It takes a village to raise a child" that is just so much liberal crap. It takes two parents who lay down rules, expect personal responsibility and teach right from wrong.

You are soooo correct about this.
There are people in this village that I wouldn't want to have within miles of any child. Much less, help raise them.

He was a good kid, well, he was getting a little bit better... then those mean men shot him... a little defenseless kid - except for the 9mm handgun, the second one associated with the little darling - in a city with STRICT hand gun laws... where the lawful citizens aren't allowed to own such things- makes the little 14year old honey a sort of god doesn't it?

Heck, he could have been Obamas son...

Read the story, His mom compares him to Travon, she is right on that, but not the way some would like. They were both committing crimes when they were stopped by force.

I am sorry that a youngster, with all the potential and a long life ahead of him, was allowed to go this wrong- we need good kids.

Mr Jessie has no room to talk as he fathered a love child or 2 himself.
These family members of the dead boy reminds me of the mother of our recent Boston terrorist - the boy was framed and she had jumped bail and skipped back to EU - yes it is called blind to their own teachings.
The stupidity of the media to post these "innocent" child photos is disgraceful.
