just an update for those who haven't seen the freedom tower .
the outside is just about finished it looks beautiful!
Went on friday to the memorial very emotional.
just wanted to share.

These are exceptional photographs Emm. Obviously you've had a lot of practice in this craft. Image quality is first rate but what's most impressive is how each image tells such a wonderful story. Not only are you a good photographer but a darn good photojournalist.

Thank you , that's very kind of you to say. The site is amazing in its beauty and symbolism. When you here the water rushing into the pools , it has such a calming effect. I felt that for the souls that were lost they now have a peaceful resting place, if that makes sense.

Thank you so much for sharing these. I have not traveled to this yet and uncertain as to what the final structure would look like. The photographs are just an excellent conveyance of the memorial. It had to be a very emotional visit.

I have been fortunate to be able to watch as this site has been developed over the last several years. The transformation has been amazing.
It is very emotional when you are there.
Glad I could share this with you .

Thank you Emm for sharing such a great set of photo's. They are wonderful and help remind us of that beauty can rise from tragety. Hope to visit it soon myself.

Agreed Emm, a very emotional place. I was there with my family at the end of May and what got to me is when you see a name followed by "and her unborn child".
