An Indian Pow Wow is one of the most colorful opportunities you will ever shoot. Shot 135 pictures in about 1 hour.
Love the color. #2 is my favorite of the lot.
I enjoy shooting colors and shapes. You've gone a great job of capturing both here. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Country's Mama, See your from Michigan. Of these I think #2 is my favorite of these. I wish I could post all 135 because they are all great. Actually I took 140 and deleted 5.
I love getting the pics of the children. They are so cute and also knowing they are learning their heritage.
This is the 3 rd pow wow at Mount Pleasant, Michigan I have attended over the years. They are the first weekend of August every year.
Here are a few more attachments.
Is this a public event or just open to the Chippewa? Mt. Pleasant isn't all that far from us. These photos are very nice. The color is spectacular.
Beautiful photos and the colors are really nice. Thank you for sharing them with us :)

This is an annual event the first weekend in August open to the public. I have attended 3 in the past 5 years. They even offer non indians the opportunity to dance and they have a competition where they will teach you to dance and judges will select a winner.

Sounds like fun. Might have to head up there next year.
