Superb shot Graham.
I was born and raised in Cambridge and spent all of my teenage years there. So many photo opportunities there. Kings College Chapel, Bridge of Sighs, Back of the Colleges, Punts on the Cam, all the Colleges, street traders, Cattle Market, City Centre Market in front of the Guild Hall, an endless list. I will have to go back one of these days to see if it still hold's the memories of when I was last there!

Hello Robby. I've always lived in or close by Cambridge, 67 years now. I don't know when you were last here but the changes have been enormous in some parts, others will never change. You mention the cattle market, it's long since gone and been redeveloped. The last bit to go was the Spillers flour mill. My dad used to take me to the cattle market in the late 50's, the best bit for me was to watch the trains shunting by Hills Road bridge. I could go on :-)

Graham, was last in Cambridge about 8 years ago when my mother passed away, then only for 3 days, didn't see much of the City as I would have liked. I can remember the trains near the cattle market and used to watch them also. Spent most of my teenage years in Petty Cury in Ken Stevens music shop and at the Dorothy Dance hall and the Victoria dance hall. Used to live off Norfolk Street, but area had changed last time I was there, still have fond memories, will definitely put a visit there again on my Bucket List!! :D

God graham, the memories, served my apprenticeship with Kidman and Sons, in Victoria Road. The Man on the Moon, Taylors fish and chips, 1 minute away from where I lived. The Still, The Dot, The Prince, the YMCA, I bet we walked past each other on many occasions all those years ago.
What a small world. Is St. Mathews Church still there in St. Mathews Street? :-D
Stellar, just stellar.
You keep posting excellent shot after excellent shot.

The church is still there. I lived in Eachard Road off Huntingdon Rd. Went to school at Chesterton Sec Mod. We used to go to dances on the RAF stations, Oakington, Wyton etc. I now live in Chatteris.

Smaller than that, I've worked at your local hospital and also a poultry processing plant near Southport, all many years ago now.
Excellent saturation in that shot...luv the coloring of the dog. Very well done. ;-)
