Yes and temperature was near 100F. Where's that you ask, it's only down the road where Santa Anna lost the battle and Texas began to win its independence. I 10 to Houston and turn right.

O.M.G. I could eat me some good catfish. And eat, and eat, and eat. Looks as good as what I used to get in my hometown many years ago.
If they don't pay you for advertising, they should. I've got to plan that trip! My husband's been saying, "Let's go to Texas" and now I know why.

It gets better everytime we go. You must never go alone, however---you want to be with friends who will help carry you out to the car after over indulging on the food!

They pay me by never lowering their ability to surprise us with more and more at a nominal price. Be sure you let us know when you plan to visit Texas and I'll help you get your visa.
Liked the pics and some of your other ones on this site as well. Food looks good and place looks fun. Do they fish there? Where? Drop me a PM as to location if they do.

Yes, you may fish and they even have a camp ground.
Note to the "Limey", Cockney Greg: Hush Puppies are the little round things, on the plate made from corn meal, onions, sometime spicey, eggs and milk. Stirred up to the consistency of Portland Cement. Formed into round balls about 2" diameter and fried in deep rolling oil along with the catfish. Look, you Limey's, y'all eat things like bangers and mash or spotted dick---so don't give this Texan a ration for "Hush Puppies". Aren't y'all the ones that drive on the wrong side of the road and talk funny?

What I love is it looks like you can buy your tackle behind the same counter in #11. Perfect.
Thanks Gramps, got the map and may try that place out soon.
