My name is Randy, I work 50+ hours a week, so going out on the hunt for things to photograph is my stress relief.. I own a Canon T3i with 18mm-55mm and a 75mm-300mm lens.. Most of my work is HDR processed.. My favorite things to photograph are old cars/trucks (The rusty ones),Old buildings and landscapes...

Let me be among the first to welcome you the UHH, Randy. Nice work! We lived in Elmhurst for 5 years, and LOVED it!

Hi Randy, welcome to the Hog.
I'm in Oak Forest. Looks like you do HDR justice.
That's my little niche right now also.
Anyway.... Welcome. Mike

Thank you for all the kind welcomes and comments...
I know HDR is a touchy subject with a lot of Photographers, but is my preferred editing style at this time.. It is only my hobby and is my creative outlet.. I have done rounds trying to defend my work but I do stand my ground.. I love natural looking photos as much as I do HDR but leave that to the Pros for now.. Let's face it most photos are altered from what the naked eye sees at the time... Focus, DOF etc.. This is why there is more than just a single button and setting on a camera.. Most use Photoshop to enhance saturation and sharpness.. I am really a novice out doing my thing.. I love the "hunt" for subjects just as much as the finished product.. I just wanted to make that statement because of all the negative judgment that has been sent my way in the past outside of this forum.. Don't get me wrong I have had much positive encouragement also, I am just a hard one to sway from doing things the way I enjoy... I really look forward to being part of this community.. Thanks for listening..
