1. On the same computer, can bookmarks made on an internet provider like Explorer be transferred to bookmarks on another internet provider, like Fire Fox?

2. What if the book marks are on two different computers?

Load them onto a CD, and you can transfer them to new computers. You should be able to right click and find an "Export" tab.

When you install most browsers, it will ask if you wish to download bookmarks from an existing browser. Check which one to include. When you install a web-based browser you can log in with another computer and add those bookmarks as well. I have several computers I use and with FireFox my bookmarks are the same on each computer.

Google Chrome‎ allows you to sync your bookmarks to your Google Account to make them available on all devices where you use Chrome

I have two computers. One is a laptop and the other a desktop. They both had IE on them. IE sucks so I decided to try Firefox on one and Google Chrome on the other. After installing the new browsers, I discovered that they both work great. They both imported the bookmarks from IE and they both work better than IE. I've been doing this for at least 6 months or longer and still can't decide which one I like better - Firefox or Chrome. I'm leaning toward Chrome since my phone and tablet use Chrome and they seem to update all the bookmarks automatically because Google seems to work at this seamlessly.
