I have been experimenting with B/W lately and different sepia tones. Please critique!

I like your composition. There was a thread started yesterday about converting color to black and white. I use Photoshop Elements 11. Others recogmended software such as
NIK SILVER EFFEX PRO
I do not have this nor am I endorsing it.

I would like to see some samples of a color pictures and let members turn it to B & W and we can judge wich softwasre or technique is best. Sorry for stealing your thread. I like your art a lot. David

Thanks for the kind words David, Chaser48 and the thumbs-up from Photoman74.

I am currently not using any specialized B/W software, just the black & white conversion in Nikon's Capture NX2.

If there is any interest I can post some more B/W pictures and their color originals.

Klaus

If you do this please click on "store original". I do belive now that Nik Silver Efex Pro is the best for making b&w, but I can't aford it sow will try to fake it.
Thanks, David

I really like the effect. I would love to see a little more detail on the barrel, but it is still an awesome shot. The light is wonderful.
