Hi, just found this site today. And though I'm not much for forums and the like, I have to say after reading some of the stuff here, I feel I may have been missing out. I can't get my head around the 'My Profile' area. I filled it out a couple times and it seems to disappear. This old chap needs help here, I think.
I've been forced into retirement due to health issues and after a little dark time I decided to get back into photography. I have just purchased a Nikon D5100 with an 18-55mm kit lens. I do like this camera. Much better than my old Olympus OM something or other from back in the day.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello.
Here's a photo I staged in my 'dark days'.

Hello Kleveland, you will like it on here, like you I am not a forum fan but UHH is different. There are some odd balls but not many, just ask anything you like and someone will be there to help.

Hi, and a different way to spell Cleveland. This site is really about enjoying yourself and improving your photography skills, which somewhere along the line you will. There is always something you thought you knew, but didn't really understand, and then there is Sarge, who will lift you from any dark times.
