go to your locale Camera Store, or Best Buy's, and feel them out. I'm not going to involved in your decision making. LOL
Wake up Sweety. There is no such thing as a better camera. All modern cameras are very good and you mentioned the great camera makers. It's your ABILITY to use that camera that matters...
the one that fits in your hands the best...don't just limit yourself to those three though...P/S, DSLR, Mirrorless? your shooting skill level, types of photography you like to do...all these things play a role in what kind of camera you should get, not just a brand.
I shoot Nikon, not because I think they are better cameras (there is no such thing as a better camera)Just because my first decent camera happen to be a Nikon. The decision has to be yours. Don't let anyone try to talk you in one or the other.

 Totally agree with you.
For me I was first introduced to a Canon camera so it only felt natural to buy that brand, could just have easily been Nikon, Sony or whatever.
When i bought my first DSLR i had no idea about Sony/Canon/Nikon or any other,I looked at what was on offer and chose Sony, why? because they were on special offer and were the cheapest, so have a look around and dont be influenced by anybody who says their brand is best unless they have tried the lot and nobody has done that.
None is better than the other. Buy what is best for you & your photographic interests, what fits your hands best ergonomically and whatever you think has the potential for you to keep growing with as you develop your abilities. They're all fine instruments. I know from personal experience that it's VERY expensive to accumulate a wide array of lenses, then find that you want to change brands which means not only purchasing a new camera, but also replacing that wide array of lenses.

And I shoot Nikon because that's what I started out with years ago (Nikon F) and still shooting with Nikon. If it wasn't Nikon it would probably be Canon. Decide if you want a point & shoot or SLR then start looking at the price range you want to invest in, then start looking at the reviews when you decide on some thing. I would start out on the low end price wise until you know you have a hobby or profession you will stay with. I see too many invest serious money in a great camera and then they sell it or put it in the closet gathering dust.
If you get bit by the bug you will start upgrading and learning a lot quickly.
I use Canon & Sony just because they fit my hands the best. You really have to go to the stores & check them out for your self to see what fit your self.

One thing I have to admit though...for me it's not a game changer but I like Canon's design for the shutter release button, the way it's indented into the grip, it feels more natural.
I have a Nikon D90 and use both Nikor and Sigma lenses. It is hard to beat the Nikor lenses but the Sigma do a very good job so if $ is a consideration, I have found the Sigma's very adequate as these pix were taken using Sigma.....
Buy the best Canon you can afford, then shoot away!
