A couple of pics from an old box camera.
I have an Ansco B2 Cadet which was made about 2 years before I was born, (1940). As I enjoy tinkering with anything old I loaded her up with a roll of Kodak T-Max 400 and went out shooting on a cloudy, overcast day. I am posting a couple of pics from my little venture in our village. One is of the bridge on Main St. over the Oatka creek and the other of St. Marks Episcopal Church. I changed them to sepia for an old style look.

What size film did you use? The pix look great!
Good for you Dragonfist. The lens in that camera is still fantastic. The pictures are sharp and the developing was just as good. I'm glad you posted these.

Yes it is nothing but a meniscus lens. I was quite surprised myself by how sharp they were. Glad you enjoyed them. I have 7 different box cameras and all are in usable condition. Actually they were the point and shoot cameras of their day.

Yes, I know. I used to shoot with a Browny Hawkeye. We still have a lot of the prints in albums. And you're right. They were indeed the first point and shoot. Good analogy.
