I have surfed the web over and what I have found
is that these are nymphs of the milkweed
that came out of my ground.
Yes? If so, what are they doing on my tomato plants?!

They look like assassin bug nymphs to me.
its a leaf footed bug nymph,i have seen them suck on my tomato's too

Thanks for your help in identifying. After another internet search, I'm leaning toward leaf footed bug nymph. To me, they seem to physically resemble them more closely and they are displaying habits exactly as are described for the leaf footed. I'm going to do a little more searching to convince myself, though, as the leaf footed is a pest which eats the plants and the assassins eat other bugs (which eat plants).
