I'm from NC and discovered this website by chance...or going off on a tangent looking for something else. I am a totally amateur photographer who gets some good shots now and then, and love to take pictures. One of my coworkers is a photographer so he critiques my stuff from time to time. Up until the last year, I've been pretty much 35mm film. Got my dad's camera when he died October 2010, a CoolPix P100 that I still know nothing about. Did learn some new stuff from a clinic @ Grandfather Mountain in August 2011. And from a fellow educator that it does shoot black and white. I like cemeteries and the cool things found there. I try to see things differently and look for the odd / unusual angle, picture, etc.
