Vultures at Moonrise

I think this photo is somewhat spooky, which is what I like about it. The Moon has a strange but wonderful attraction, and vultures are a gift of nature. I had to get there in early twilight before the birds, having seen them there before and expecting they would roost in the old dead tree. I lay in a wet ditch for a time to keep from scaring them away. I knew the Full Moon would rise at that point, so all I had to do was wait.

You put a lot of effort & planning in to getting this shot. It does look spooky. Might make a great window print for Halloween. Thanks for sharing. :thumbup:
