I watched this jumper hiding under a leaf. This poor hoverfly landed and the spider attacked so fast.

Awesome. They are quick. Douglass posted some NG videos yesterday that included a jumper attacking a Bee.

Excellent capture! I would rather be lucky than good, but it is best to be prepared and lucky at the right time.

Thanks, everyone. The jumper was shy and I was afraid of scaring it or the fly so I didn't get any pictures before the attack. As soon as the jumper had it's prey, it was so involved that it allowed me to take 8 pictures.
