PaintShop Pro X5 vs. Photoshop Elements 11

I have Photoshop CS6 and Paint Shop Pro X5 Ultimate. Paint Shop can do everything that CS6 can do (despite what avid Photoshoppers think) and I find it easier to use. The price difference is astronomical so, Paint Shop wins on most counts as far as I am concerned.
I agree with DebAnn, love Paint Shop Pro and have the Photoshop CS6 as well. Use Paint Shop a lot more often in my editing.
A big thank you to all the above Paintshop Pro users who are willing to admit that PSP is a great program for post processing photos. The X5 Ultimate version comes with NIK Efex Pro 3 plugins that are wonderful. PSP X5 will run most all .8bf plugins that have been developed for Photo Shop including the aforementioned Topaz plugins. X5 also handles RAW files with limited adjustments and has an HDR function to exposure merge 3 or more photos. I use Faststone image viewer (free) for viewing and organizing images which I can also use to send a selected image to PSP or any other program I choose. I also use RAW Therapee (free) which is great for RAW files. And, I use Photomatix Pro4 for serious HDR. All that for well under $200 and a pretty easy learning curve. I am not sure that I need anything else. I just can't justify the added expense and tough learning curve of PS, PSE, and Lightroom. I have tried them all and had trouble even getting to first base with any of them. By observing the posts on the UHH, I believe that there are more people out there having the same problems I did. Have a GREAT DAY!
