How would the FBI even know this guy was photographing the dam in the first place. Was there some paranoid person watching him then reported him. As we do not know all of the story or was the guy being interviewed in some sort of trouble in the past.

I must be on the wanted list for taking pictures of the Denver clock tower when I was there in June.

Wonder what part of security as in Homeland Security does he fail to understand? He is the kind of clown that would get a picture of 2 guys theoretically rigging a bomb and be pissed becase they got in the way of his shot of the "split-tail scrubber" or whatever.

I kind of feel sorry for the FBI guy. What I gleaned from this video is that the local sheriff and this guy got into a heated argument when this guy was taking pictures of flowers near the dam. It also sounds like he then escalated the problem by rigging a camera on a a remote controlled airplane and took pictures of the dam that way. The FBI guy was just trying to ask the guy if he had any nefarious reasons for doing so. To the FBI guy, when he said no, end of story. I do know that police forces are very touchy when it comes to what type of photographs we take. Cheers.

The way our society is today and with the people allowed into this country, the FBI is just doing their job and, I think, doing it correctly. If I am taking pictures of a dam or airport or large buildings, I hope someone is watching me and questions me, in a civil way. I have no problem with that.

What is this whacko paranoia sweeping our great country!!!!!!!!!!! I was in New York in June, 2001, and took pictures all over the place. And of the twin towers. And of my old neighborhood. Ive taken pictures of landmarks and have never been approached as to "What are you doing here....." Now, im afraid to go out and photograph the animals in a zoo for fear someone might misinterpret my motives and think im coming back to either release or kill the animals. What has gotten into this country of ours? Are we that stupidly paranoid? I could go on but im so frustrated now about the situation in our country that i feel it is better to just keep my mouth shut.
