If you want the sides to show, the entire photo will have to be printed smaller so the sides are 14". This means the photo might be 10X14. One thing you can do is, when you take the picture, leave room around the subject so when enlarged, the ends being cropped out won't matter.

Your camera takes photos in a 2:3 ratio format. If you print anything other than that ration, you will lose some of the image. 4x6, 8x12, 12x18, 16x24 are all standard (full frame) print sizes. 4x5, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 are not, these sizes are based on the old large format camera sizes and do not relate to modern image size ratios.
You, as the photographer, need to make the composition and cropping choices necessary to make your images fit the standard frame sizes either at the time you take the picture, or in post processing. Always been that way, always will be.

Most digital cameras take a picture with a ratio of length to width of roughly 2:3. If you want to enlarge a picture, without changing this ratio, you must use multiples such as 4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 10x15, etc. If you are trying to make an 11"x14" print from a 2x3 ratio file, something has to get cut off. If you change the file dimensions to 11'x14" or 5.5"x7" before taking it to be printed, the whole picture will print but now, you will have done the trimming instead of the printer. Either way, some part of the original picture will be lost by printing 11" x 14".

You got some great answers.
Perhaps you can write a better topic title next time?
Imagine if everyone who needed help titled their post: " Please Help"

It would look something like this:

While it is true that most modern cameras take pictures at a 3:2 aspect ratio, a few do not. The first thing we need to know in order to give you a definitive answer is what camera you use and/or what aspect ratio you are using. Many cameras can be set to multiple aspect ratios. Simplest way to find out is to check your data and let us know the height and width IN PIXELS of your regular pictures.

A lot of the commercial photoprinters will use the 2x3 format on any photo that you upload to them. This is how they keep costs low. If your photo is not that format use 'Irfan' or something similar to add some blank 'space' to one edge to bring the format to 2x3. Usually there is a bit of arithmetic involved!
Upload the modified photo and when the print is returned just trim off the blank section you added.
Works for me!

Did the orientation of the photo (landscape vs portrait) match the print?

I posted this before and I will post it again here. I think you should size your images to the same size prints you will order. I am a believer when it comes to sending images out for printing. Always send the size image out to match the size of the print you are ordering and you will never lose much if anything when the image gets printed. For myself, when I bring in an image from my camera for post processing, I always bring it in at 300 dpi since most printing labs want 300 dpi for printing. I have my horizontal and vertical rulers set for inches. Images come in from my D80 at around 8.5 by 12.5 inches at 300 dpi. Very easy to resize the 8.5 inch side to 8 inches which brings the 12.5 inch side to about 12 inches and save. Perfect for sending out for 4x6 proofs. Now I can post process to my heart's content. I then resize and crop to 11 by 14 and save. Now it is very easy (with minimal loss) to resize to 8 by 10 or to 16 by 20. Those are the 4 sizes (4x6, 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20) I deal with for printing most of the time. I post process, resize, and save all my images at 300 dpi all the time. I save each size individually and add the size (8x10, 11x14, etc) into the file name. I get very close to exactly what I upload as prints from the lab. Very minor if any crops by the lab. Just some suggestions. Works for me.

If they photo is a landscape with no people or circles, you can save a copy and change the shape to 11 x 14 . I have done this many times.

Here's a nice blog post about print size and cropping with a sample image showing how each print size affects the finished product.
