I really like the flower but would like to see a lighter background so as to make the flower stand out.
That's my amateur option.

Subject = Good Challenge
Focus = Off, needs to be tack sharp.
DOF = Off, stack focus
Composition = Off does not draw eye
Angle = Off, needs to provide depth to subject
Contrast = Shadows lacking to provide texture
Color = Good
BG = No seperation
I Googled this flower - review other pictures
Not a bad picture just could be much improved.

Thank you Photoman74. That's the sort of info I need. Don't know if there's much I can do about the focus and DOF - my eyes aren't as sharp as yours. Guess I'll have to have my older daughter vet my photos. Angle and shadow I can control - I see your point.

Just bought stack focus rail at local photo shop under $50
Eyes, mine are 70 years old, know problem, have a 20/20 focus a image now adj diopter on view finder
Check with doctor on subject.
