I was away for the past 3 days but went out late afternoon and found these. Does anyone know what they are? The eggs were on another leaf on the same plant.

Thanks.

You are right. I just got the answer from bugguide - Coreidae (leaf foot bugs) eggs.

You know, when I spotted those eggs, they looked like real gold glistening in the sun - I thought I had hit the jackpot. I guess I did, in a bug way. They led me to the red guys.
