I spent 3 years there. I was in the equipment operator "A" school form April of 1969 to June 1969. Then went to Iceland. I went back to MCB-4 from Nov. 70 to Jan. 73. Loved it there.
Thanks for looking guys. I get by there once or twice a year and the base keeps changing.....Cliff

I was born in Oxnard! My Dad is a retired Navy Seal and I am sure he has been there many times, I will have to ask him about it. :-)
Thanks for looking RE. In the last few years they have built a new museum in honor of the Sea Bees, must go sometime to check it out. Cliff
I will never forget the sign at the Sea Bee base in Gulfport MS.
Sea Bees can do!

Is it open to the public, we were just in that area a few months ago.
It was 40 years ago when I was stationed there.
I know this an old post, but I was at Port Hueneme recently and the SeeBee has now been removed. Unable to get info about if it would reinstalled or not. CAN DO!
