This commercial was fun to watch - glad you posted it. Now we will all face the remark, others make, "There is a great little camera that takes photos as well as a DSLR". But, that is ok because I have become used to people saying, "Look what a great photo my cell phone, IPad takes". I smile and say, "That is a great photo". I don't say, "On your screen".
Some of my best photos were taken with a Super Zoom Point and Shoot, but put them on my computer screen and they don't measure up (even considering the variables), as far as the detail of my DSLR and it's lens. I want the best detail I can get out of any camera/lens I buy. I accept some of the blurry ones, from my both my cameras, and call them "Creative Blur". Makes me sound "Pro Like".
I wish they would put this commercial on tv (of course it would need to be shortened). It would give more exposure to small mirrorless cameras as an alternative.
The Samsung HAS the same size sensor as DSLR cameras, like the Sony NEX cameras. I know there are not a lot of lenses (both brands) and I have not even heard much about the Samsung lens but the Sony lens is supposed to be great lenses.
I think the commercial just shows peoples misconception when looking at two identical pictures (that was wirelessly sent to the "large" camera) that the bigger camera took the better picture.
