I agree with Jerry, I have a D7000 and would also suggest your 18-200, it will cover anything you would want to Photograph. Please be careful around or on the water rides, and water parks, the moisture and spray will definitely take its toll on your electronic sensors in your camera if it gets wet by any chance.. Keep a large size plastic bag , freezer bag etc to stash your camera and case in if taking it on any of the rides. I have a pocket waterproof camera , i take with me and I get some great shots with while on the rides. Just remember Splash mountain means splash mountain you will get wet. And don't forget the raining days. Have fun! :-D

Take the smallest one you have. You will be encountering 90 degree heat with 80% humidity and be stuck in crowds and lines. But it is great fun. Don't burden yourself with a DSLR!

Disney World is one of my favorite places and I have taken hundreds of photos over the years in and around the park and on many rides. I usually take my Olympus E-510 with the 14-54 mm (4/3) lense, an extra battery and an extra memory card so I'm not burdened by what I do not need. The E-510 has a wide range of settings enabling photos to be taken in various lighting conditions. I assume that your cameras have similar capabilities.

I was able to take some excellent photos in the Small World ride and put them together in a slideshow set to that wonderful Small World Song which tends to stick in your mind for weeks.

If you are in the park for one of the evening light shows or fireworks, you'll need a good tripod to capture a sharp image.

Enjoy your visit. I'm envious.

after reading this post: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-127643-1.html

I think I would stick with a P/S and enjoy the trip with the family and not have to worry about damage to my equipment.

Appreciate the info. Will be there at least 6 nights. Really don't want to take a tripod so thinking I will try a "gorilla" flexible one with the hopes of finding a pole or fence to attach it to. Thanks again.

If you can, bring a good tri-pod. It helps with night photos, and increases the cardio work out.

Just be careful to follow Disney's rules.

I've also seen wagons, people use them instead of strollers.

If you do have all that equipment, you know what each is doing for you, so, how can somebody else tell you what to use?

Wow, what a great answer! How does this help him?

Nanny,
Agree with Jerry. D7000 with the 18-200mm is a great combination.

We are going to WDW and I want great pics but don't want to take anymore equipment than necessary. We have been 4 times and the last time I only took the P90. Here's what I have: Nikon D7000, D5100, P90, P310, Nikkor 18-55, 18,200, 18-300, 50 mm I-8. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Take the D7000 and 18-300 - Its a good combo.
I use it quite often on my trips
You will have all the reach you require and lots more
