If there was still truly free speech, people wouldn't consider every remark made as being a racist remark against someone. What someone thinks or says will always be disagreeable to someone else. But you must keep your thoughts to yourself, because if you offend someone, you will be labeled as a racist, you will lose your job, etc, etc.
