Many thanks for the warm welcome. That shot was one of the 600+ I took during our stay at the Grand Canyon in September 2010. I love to take road trips to unknown new places and capture interesting views. I hadn't shared much of this before now but after retiring I find it almost therapeutic but so much more fun now that I don't have to worry about being home on Monday's to go to work.

Welcome to the forum! A fantastic first post, unusual and a real eye-catcher. Not sure your horizon line is straight, or whether the landscape is rising, but worth noting. Beautiful photo!
