The Adobe Mission

rmalarz Loc: Tempe, Arizona

Located near downtown Scottsdale, AZ. This was the first church I attended when my family moved there in 1957. It was replaced by a larger, that replaced by a larger one yet.

Some years later, money was raised and the original adobe mission was refurbished. It now serves mostly as a small museum, etc. for the parish.

Hasselblad 500C, 80mm Zeiss Planar, 25A filter, Ilford FP4
Development-Ilfosol-S at 68F/20C 7 minutes w/ constant agitation.

I pray for all the firefighters and their families from the Yarnell tragedy (and others like it). People who volunteer for hazardous duties like that are heroes in my book.
