How Hot Was IT

Yesterday, the high temperature in my area was 116F/47C. I wanted to take a photo to depict how hot it was. Unfortunately, I think the lens melted. Any recommendations on good quality, heat resistant glass? 8-)

I have a rescue for wolf/hybrids out here. We are 2 miles north of the nuke plant.

Isn't it obvious? You are too close to the power plant. 109 here in Tucson yesterday, brrrrr

Pack it in a cooler full of dry ice. :D

GWR, That was the saving grace. A few cold pints at the pub last evening. It works similar to an anaesthetic. Not that one can't feel the heat afterwards, one just doesn't care any more.
