To all:
Yesterday, I received an email offer to purchase any of the OnOne Software's photo products at 50% off. When I tried to purchase this product at the discount, I could not get rid of a "LR5 Crash Course" for an additional $19.95.
After long discussion with OnOne's customer service page, they said that all they could do is refund the additional charge after the purchase as long as I could provide them an order number.
In otherwords, the add is misleading as their web site cannot let you order without the additional charge, and they know someone will forget to ask for the refund and pay for a "free" item.
So, does anyone have positive things to say about Perfect PhotoSuite? It it worth $149 and the hassle that has already taken place just to find out the real deal regarding the discount?
I really don't care to see it compared to other products. I am just hoping that it is an alternative to Adobe CC.
Thanks.
Bob

Nothing is free
You missed the point. Ad says one thing, web site offers only something else.
Secondly, do you have experience with their products?

Not personally but I know two people who love and use
Perfect B&W
Premium Edition
I have it, and occasionally use it. I got it for the "Perfect Resize" which works quite well. I sometimes use the "Perfect Portrait", but I think I don't really have the hang of it yet. Those are the only two aspects of it I have used, but when I do use it, I like it.
Did you try to purshase the stand-alone version or the version for LR? OnOne has both options. I am not sure about this "free" ad.

The Premium suite can be used either as stand alone or with LR. It was just the additional LR training that did not fit the email ad.
Anyone use the most of the Perfect Photo Suite?
I had to buy the PERFECT RESIZE 7.5 because my old (Genuine Fractals) would not run on W7. It was/is considered the standard for extreme enlargements especially back when sensors were in the 5mp range. I did not buy the complete pkg, LR/PS does just about all I need.

Welcome to the frustrations of dealing on the web. Try dealing with Adobe on the net if you live in Australia.
I recently perchased the 7.5 suite for $149.00 with the LR 5 training video. The 19.99 was deducted when I entered the code and on LR trainning web page. I downloaded both from the necessary web sites. I was charged to discounted price and had no difficulty whatsoever. I purchased it mainly for Perfect Resize 7.5.
use it all the time. Great companion to my LR 5.0. Love the integration it has with LR.. Get it, learn it and enjoy
I use the programs and love them. The suite is my go to in lightroom. the tutorials are free if you enter in the code, it show a discount on the checkout page.

It appears that NIkon has Genuine Fractals -- Re: Genuine Fractals in 990 Software Bundle but that is an old web comment. I could not find easily what is in new Nikon software bundles.
Topaz labs is offering the bundle of all their soft ware for $199 til July 7th. The new "Clarity" is not included. I have used Topaz for years now and it is fantastic in ease of use and Magic in the result. Down load a 30 day trial, view a few webinars and then buy before the 7th. Promo code for discount is : july4

Bob, I use their Perfect Effects 4 program and love it. I have found the folks at OnOne Software to be polite and helpful, never had any problems with them.
OnOne has good software and a good company to back it up. I have their current suite but use the NIK plugins more often. I also have the Topaz suite as well and find each set of products brings something unique to the table.
