Here is a lesson in using light creatively. Love it. It reminds me of running out in the fields on a warm summer day when I was a kid.

Yes taken in late summer.
I even rolled back the clock to my childhood on this day.
I lay on my back in the long grass for a while, watching the clouds change shape overhead, a sprig of grass between my teeth.
Not a care in the world - until I remembered I was meant to be taking pics.

It redefines the sayings:
Stop and smell the coffee
Stop and smell the roses

Now it is:
Stop, lay on your back on the grass, smell in nature and watch the sky....and do not forget to take some pictures.

Yes, there is a lot to be said for stopping and "smelling the roses"
If I didn't do that sometimes I couldn't take my pics properly.
I can always photograph a place better if I can "feel" it first.
Thank you Photogator

This is absolutely lovely. You would have been a star pupil with this one in my last fine art photography class :-)

Fantastic. Love it. Is this straight out of the camera?

Thank you everyone.
Almost straight out of the camera.
I pushed the contrast a little because that lens does suffer from lowish contrast.
I sharpened, I cropped, I converted and saved as jpg.
