I really like the first shot but I felt that it could do with a little cropping and brightening.

Love #1 - try cropping out the bucket and trash can. Like the lighting as is. Great mystical quality to it. :thumbup:

I had cropped it but opted for the uncropped version to post. I don't think it needs to be brightened.

Both very well done, especially like the clutter in #1, atypical of the actual location of the shot.
If I made any suggestions it would be to perhaps make a small adjustment in the contrast that should lighten it up just a bit. The morning mist is the main feature in both pieces, hard to duplicate very good of Mother Nature to add it for you.
