Hi, Everyone! I am starting for Pat (Patography) as she is making her way home from the Photo Palooza held in Denver this weekend. This is my 3rd attempt in the last 1 1/2 hours ~ coming to you now from my iPhone. So sorry for the delay. I emailed myself a random photo so the challenge will post.
You know the drill ~ This is where we kick back and share our recent best shots. Did any of you successfully shoot the super moon? Please share those with us as well; along with your settings & technique.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Nemo, Annette!

Thank you so much, Gracie. Seems there are all kinds of delays between airplanes, flights cancelled, posts that won't post! Can't wait to 1) get to bed 2) check out the shots tomorrow.

Nice shots. You were lucky...mine are not before, but during
I had set up the tripod and wanted lightning bolts but the rains came...and hail stones and a tornado touched down 50 miles from here.
What a great time I missed being with you and I see one word to describe the pics of the gang ''AMBIENCE''.
Really happy for you......welcome home.

Norm, that is exactly how the moon looked in my area. A lovely golden color with heavy to medium cloud cover. I could not get the cloud detail the other night. When I exposed to get the clouds, my moon became a bright white ball with no definition. I researched settings, etc., but my photos were an epic failure. I have no trouble just shooting the moon with pretty impressive detail for my lens. But I want a shot that includes clouds and/or surrounding scenery with a moon that has definition! I like your shot very much ~ (page 1)
