I agree with your id, but all the pictures of it I could find do not show the little feather tiara on his head. Is this the norm for them in your area? great shot, love birds.

that makes sense, they all look so cute and serene but it can be a jungle, look at hummingbirds, I've put feeders on 3 sides on my house and they still would rather have a skirmish than leave the others alone. I can understand it when the lead males come to claim territory, but all summer long.
