Been looking for a bean bag for general use with the bigger lenses. A friend suggested that I try the gun shop. The third one I tried ( Gander Mountain ) I found this. Works remarkably well. If shooting from the car, just turn it upside down and it fits and stays on the window when it is partially open. I considered it a bargain at 14.00.

Your quite welcome, I should have also stated that it is fairly light. Some bags from the gun store are filled with shot and way to heavy for our use!

I bet you could strap that right on top of someone's head. Make it a family photo outing. :D

Did you check to see if they had any ammo in?
I'm still waiting for some .223 at a reasonable price.

Good thought Jerry, I'd have to make sure they were not bald like me. :-D

I looked for some 9mm while I was there, what they had was very pricey. I think the Gummit beat me to it!

A bald head is an honest head. Nothing to hide.

I've known about those things for years and never made the jump. The thing I have that is made for shooting out the window I never use as it's awkward and unstable with heavy lens. Thanks for the tip. I just ordered mine.

Are there straps on the ends? Where would they attach?
