problems uploading pictures to uhh

I'm having trouble uploading to UHH. I've tried both in IE9 and in Chrome I have a HP dv5 laptop. I go to choose file and then click on the photo to open file click on open and the file shows up to the right of choose file. I resize any photo to less than 500 kb and save to for web. When I click on send the photo just disappears. Shows to right of choose file no file chosen. Once in awhile I can get one to come thru but that is hit and miss. I would like to be able to upload all the time and not hit and miss. I really enjoy this forum and want to post to it more often. want to let everyone to help me improve my photos as I try different things that is talked about here.

Hmm, that's weird.
If you tried different browsers and also resized images, then I'm not sure what else to suggest.
Are you sure you don't have some kind of firewall?
Is JavaScript enabled in your browser?

I'm not sure but I can send some but not others. doing the same thing all the time. It has me scratching my head.

Are you previewing after you attach the photos? That will make the photos go away.

Can you think of anything that might be different between pictures that load successfully and those that fail to load?
Which software you used to save them? The same every time or different?
File sizes?
Dimensions?
The steps you took to upload?
Anything else you could think of?

I use the same software set all the same size and size them all the same I'll just keep trying till I get right thanks for all the help
