It's not about "support gay marriage". It is about giving gay people a minority status which gives them more advantage in a court room than straight people or other gay people who get hauled into court.

I would expect him to say something like that after the last elections and the constituency projections going forward. The problem he will face is that if it is the same group mindset that he has now, it is going to be a waste of time. Look at what has transpired in the past several weeks regarding women's rights? I don't see any change.

Becoming a priveliged class with legal minority status means they will be less miserable than the rest of us in the judge's chamber.
