Welcome xzoup,a lot of people here inc. me use google chrome. Perhaps your version of IE needs updating.

I do believe the culprit is Windows 8, I already had my 2 1/2 month old new computer repaired once. I just purchased Windows 7 home premium off of amazon, as soon as I receive it Windows 8 is coming out.

Agree , I use apple and Microsoft on different computers , and would never use Windows 8.it belongs in the round circular file next to your desk.good luck with your new installation .
