Upload photo problem

Followed the directions in the help section but when I hit browse, go to computer files and open, all that comes up next to the hedgehog browse line is the location on my computer and no photo. Anybody know why I can't load?

If you happen to be using Internet Explorer 9, then try enabling "compatibility mode". Some people say it helps.
