Stopped by this past winter on our way to fl. In a couple of weeks we are going to the reenactment . Should be fun shooting!
The battlefield(s) in winter? Interesting! (Nice photos.)
We visited Gettysburg in May a few years ago. It is truly impressive. The "ridges" we're told about in history books are really just minor elevations. But Little Round Top and the Devil's Den defy verbal descriptions; they must be seen to be fully appreciated. And the diorama in the visitor's center is something to behold.
All of this I'm sure you know -- I offer it to those who have not yet visited the battle site. Everyone should (not all at one time, of course).
Thanks for the visuals.
Hi boots, yes, we'll we have been there many times since my husband is a civil war buff. And yes I hope everyone would get a chance to go because it is very different once you are there. The 150 th anniversary is this year, should be an interesting shoot ! Thanks!
great perspective in the winter with snow. Its been so long since I visited as a young person. Even at that time it was imprtessive. Would like to take my family and explore the entire region
It's a great place for family! Hope you make it back! Enjoy!
