Does anyone know of a small flash cover to put on my flash Canon 7D? I have a Gary Fong and a LumiQuest soft screen. Which are both too big. I want something real small that will cover only the pop up flash but still let some flash though. Thank you everyone.

Take an opaque white film canister, cut a slot in it, and place over flash.

I used to just tape a papertowel or kleenex over it. Or a piece of styrofoam cup.

If softening is your intention, bigger is better.
It's the size of the diffuser that softens the light.

One easy trick I learned when you're short on options is to take a business card and simply rest it just under the pop up so that it blocks the forward flash and bounces the flash to the cieling.

Check with your local Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc that process film. Those were generally used by non-Kodak brands of film like Fuji, etc.
