Ok Judging from the spurs on the flowers, lobes of the leaf, form of the seed pods and the shiny black seed. A type of Aquilegia (columbine) For exact just google sure you'll find

Thanks to ALL, so far who have offered a name for the flower. The "Aquilegia (columbine)" seems to be the closest one so far, but any photos I've seen by Googling it, are not quite the same. Maybe a different variety of the same though. Anyway, thank you all. Now maybe my wife will quit asking me if someone told me the correct name :)
Obviously, I'm not much of a flower guy.

Flowers come in too many variations. They should all agree on one format and stick with it.

Macromad, you've hit it, dead on! Thank you. Now if I can remember that name, that's yet another story but I appreciate all the help from everyone. Aquilegia Canadensis, eh? Thank you!

Common name, Columbine. Most likely Aquilegia canadensis.

Thanks EarthArts. Thought it was quite unusual.
