Hi! I started my interest in photography many yrs. ago with 35mm, lost interest, then got fascinated with the digital when they came out. My 1st digital was fixed lens Olympus then Nikon Coolpix fixed lens, then a couple of yrs. ago took the leap into "real" dslr with beginner level Canon T3 and am currently still trying to figure it out.
I loved the close ups from the start with digital and got hooked on bugs, finding that, living near the woods, we have tons of beautiful little creatures here. Now I shoot everything I see. Bigger stuff is harder so I have a lot to learn!
Here are a few of my favorite bugs:
your doing very well with it.
Thank you very much. I have had plenty of practise with the bugs- I have thousands of shots of them.
I wondered why I didn't have many bugs here in Florida.
Then today the Pest Control came by and sprayed for 1/2 hour.

Mikeys, I can't remember what lens, but it was probably the 18-55 kit lens.

I'm about 1 hr. from Charlotte. Have you been to Biggs Camera? Been wondering if it's worth the trip.

lol! While I love the bugs, and just let them go, they do eat every flower in site, so I have to get them early on, before they devour them.
