Abandoned and Forgotten In South Texas............
This old church is hidden on a back road just a tab South of Kingsbury, Texas. If you don't travel down that old narrow dead end road, you will never know it existed. After I took this picture, I sat on the tailgate of the pickup truck drinking a cup of coffee from my thermos bottle, enjoying listening to the many birds in the area. I sat there for over thirty minutes, never saw another vehicle, so peaceful.
Pictures were taken with a Sony A300 DSLR using a vintage (1985) Minolta 28-85mm lens. Tejaswrangler :)
That's quite a find...kind of sad though, but it makes for an interesting photo. Back at ya...Sony makes good stuff!

Makes you wonder what happened to the people and the town. Beautiful church just left to decay.
Thanks for sharing this moment in time.

Dan, the town is still there, barely. This old church is hidden down a little traveled road just south of town. Thanks for viewing the picture. :)
