Bored this morning so decided to shoot some birds on my fence.

Bored people do not shoot great shots as you have done. Photos are simple but show nature at her best . Considering relocating to NZ just for the photo ops !

Thanks guys.. I would love to do a tour of the USA. Ive been to Yosemite and would love to go there again and yellowstone and other great places..

Wonderful. How long did it take to get the full set? I've never seen a waxeye stand still.

Nice set. The bird in two seems to match the colors in the fence. Three seems to be quite a show-off. Very good.

I had the camera set up on the tripod for a couple of hours just poking out the sliding door and came back now and then to capture these birds as they landed on the fence. Well these were the best of them I thought. Yeah the waxeye's are pretty shifty little critters Theres a deadly nightshade just below the fence where they were eating the berries so when they've had enough or spooked they land on the fence first and take off.

Ah, good strategy. I had a bird feeder on my deck but it was so hard to get them all in focus as there was never just one or two on it. Where are you?
